Lindt Foundation with the support of ECOTOP, promotes the establishment of Dynamic Agroforestry (DAF) model plots with cocoa . Local technicians are trained by ECOTOP experts. Together with the farmers, the technicians are establishing DAF systems where a variety of short cycle, perennial crops and timber trees are planted.
The Lindt Cocoa Foundation was founded in 2013 and has the declared purpose of working to achieve social and ecological sustainability in the cultivation, production and processing of cocoa and other raw materials used in chocolate production.
